RANI has set forth exemplary activities for implementing Tobacco Control Law by mobilizing the local community and CBO. RANI has undertaken enterprise to activate taskforce of different districts in Rajshahi division. In previous year conducted advocacy for carrying out mobile court in 11 sub districts and as part of implementing tobacco control law RANI made Naogaon district free from tobacco advertisement and Public places and Transports had also been made smoke free with the leading of RANI. The representative of RANI received training on Finance and leadership management from The Union including many other training from WBB Trust.

Recently RANI has received an award (certificate of honor) from Bangladesh Tamak Birodhi Jote (Bangladesh Anti Tobacco Alliance-BATA) for anti tobacco activities on Rajshahi Division. RANI’s Executive Director Fazlul Haq is one of the key vocal on tobacco control law. He has facilitated many workshop, seminars on law.
